I cried through most of this....images so fitting and music is perfect. It was a special time. Oh to go back!

The fact that they could make a show this good and on network tv with no profanity and basically a PG rating.....crazy they couldn't make anything this good now with no restrictions and 10x the budget. Also what separated this show from anything before it was that the good guys didn't always win and not every ending was a happy one.

Never saw this season. Don't really feel like I got a life story sort of vibe from this but still some cool scenes. Maybe next time start with a bit of a backstory, intro to the dude...all I got are his high-intensity scenes. If you go and look at a video of the story of Tony Soprano you can find some very good videos that encapsulate him quite well. I think this is really well done though.

Excellent tribute. Takes me back to this glorious time in my life. Friday nights couldn't come fast enough. ❤

This is a long time ago. I’m 64 and the one thing that stands out for me about this show is that the budget for one episode of it had a bigger budget than the annual budget for the actual Miami Vice police unit.

It’s funny. People don’t realize how many incredibly famous people were actually on this show. I absolutely LOVED the show. I have the DVDs, I even still have the unopened albums 1&2. I was born in 71 and this show happened at the perfect time of growing up. It was just the coolest ever. I wanted to be Sonny so bad as a kid, had the oversized jacket, I even had the black satin jacket with the show logo on the back. It really was the BEST time to grow up.

The actual segment of the show where they played "In the Air Tonight" was powerful. No talking, in the car heading for a do or die confrontation with Calderon...Crockett, Tubs, a Ferrari, a sawed-off shotgun in Tubs' hands and the road. The anticipation. That was powerful. Btw, Miami Vice was a fashion statement for the 80's.
